Be the man your portraying yourself to be
I want to be loved but not just loved
I need an unconditional type love,
Being "IN" love not to just be loved by you
Cause see you can love everybody
That's not worth much in this generation we are in
You have to show for it
Actions are needed to justify your love, much more than what your paying for it
You cant just say I love you anymore
Having it being taken to the heart, no buddy you wont walk through this door
You wont just say I've fallen for you & expect to receive trust
& the same infatuation in return
Your access will be denied
But if I laugh maybe these emotions will no longer be worn on my sleeves...
Maybe if I just smile & laugh he wont notice these fears my heart so vividly sheds & bleeds.....

I agree that saying the words does not make love real. Actions are the only way to know if someone cares for you.
This brings up the question of how do you choose not knowing if someone is capable of unconditional love or just the IN love type that is empty of feelings? What happens if the wrong person loves you unconditionally?
We who would love someone have to "carry our emothions on our sleeve" at some point so the other will believe our feelings for them are true. Someone at some point must offer their heart and find out if they have trusted the right person.
If you know of another way, please tell me as I too seek to be loved by someone whom I can trust and who I can trust to forgive my mistakes.
What ever you may call love; by what ever discription you give it; Love is illusive in the best of relationships. There must be a willingness to commuciate honestly and not be afraid to share feelings. There needs to be simular interest and sharring a common direction. Both people must share time together in a way that brings comfort and warmth and mutual trust.
I hope you have someone to love you and for you to love in the way you want and I hope you will be happy and fulfilled.
